2002: due to the recent changes in the Constitution and By-Laws voted by the membership,
committees have been reorganized. There are now four Standing Committees - Communications,
Community Life, Education, and Liturgy. All committees are currently working on
revisions to their statements of objectives and activities. As committees complete
their work, their statements will be updated on this page.

Objective (As stated in the Constitution and By Laws of Dignity/Philadelphia): To plan and implement the development of such education and informational activities and programs as shall contribute to the personal growth in knowledge, skills, abilities and interest of the membership and our friends, and of the GLBT community at large where appropriate.
Activities:
Create,
organize and coordinate advertising throughout the Delaware Valley
Create
a resource guide of speakers, special quest and educators for Sunday service,
special events, retreats or informational lessons
To partner with other community
organizations on educational activities that are either related to GLBT or Dignity
issues
To educate the membership of Dignity/Philadelphia of religious issues
and changes and Dignity/USA reactions and actions for our movement
Psalm
- Schedule different languages; e.g., Spanish, Sign, Italian, and French.
Liturgy Committee: Please change meets at 7:00pm the 2nd Tuesday of every month
to meets at 4:30pm the 2nd Sunday of every month.
Objective - To plan, prepare and provide Eucharistic liturgies on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation, and upon such occasions as the sentiment and desire of the membership and our friends mat require. The liturgies shall provide where practicable music and singing, a printed order of Mass and a competent celebrant or leader to officiate.

Community
Life Committee Dignitys Community Life Committee meets at 4:30pm
on the 4th Sunday of every month at 330 S 13th Street, 215-546-2093.
Objective - To plan and implement the development of such community activities and programs as shall foster and support the continuing growth of the communal and spiritual life and of the moral and ethical consciousness of the membership and our friends.
